This is a brand of Cefixime, a third generation cephalosporin. Cefixime is a lipophilic drug and naturally has challenge with dissolution, which is a rate limiting step for lipophilic drugs. Our formulation has been able to drastically reduce this challenge, enabling Cefirat to dissolute readily and absorbed through the lipid bi-layer. This brand is available as a 400mg tablet and 200mg dispersible tablet.
